Tip Tuesday #0823 Every week, we share what we call, "Tip Tuesday." These are bits of best practices to help awesome clinicians even better in documenting. We came about calling them tips because they are not anything new but simple reminders of the simple things that tend to be overlooked. We hope you find our tips refreshing.Until the patient/caregiver achieves 100% understanding or response to skilled intervention, they will require further teaching and this needs to be properly marked or documented. However, it doesn't always mean that the patient/caregiver will not need further teaching/re-teaching so it's also best practice to document or mark that they may require further teaching during the episode, especially when non-compliance is evident (on medication as an example).
