Tip Tuesday #1220

It’s Tuesday and it’s time for another QA tip!

Every week, we share what we call, "Tip Tuesday." These are bits of best practices to help awesome clinicians even better in documenting. We came about calling them tips because they are not anything new but simple reminders of the simple things that tend to be overlooked. We hope you find our tips refreshing.

Documentation in home health is overwhelming especially for those new in this field. It is advisable to get your visit notes completed as soon as you’re done with your visit. By doing this, there is less chance of forgetting some information and your documentation will be more accurate. Bonus Tip: You can start filling out your visit note at point-of-care with pertinent data and keywords to help you remember your interventions. Then save it for completion later.
